Dear Memory Athletes!
We are happy to announce the IAM European Memory Championships 2023!
We are thrilled to announce that our competition will take place in Paderborn from October 20th to October 22nd. We are incredibly grateful to have the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum, the largest computer science museum in the world, as our venue sponsor for this event.

The event will be run digitally using the official IAM software, which you can – and should – already get used to on https://www.iamwmc.com/competition/training.html#
For Speed Cards you have the choice to do the event using physical cards.
The event is recognized and honored by the International Association of Memory.
The competition follows the International Standard, which means we will have the following ten disciplines:
- 30-Minute Numbers
- 30-Minute Cards
- 30 Minute Binary
- 15-Minute Words
- 15-Minute International Names & Faces
- 5-Minute Numbers
- 5-Minute IAM Images
- 5-Minute Historic & Future Dates
- Spoken Numbers (3 attempts)
- Speed Cards
We are limited to a total of 35 competitors. Please register early to avoid disappointment!

Registration fee is 80 Euros, official MemoryXL members pay half (40 Euros).

Written language-based material will be offered in a language of your choice if you register no later than August 31st.
English and German are guaranteed.
Spoken Numbers will be offered in English; we currently attempt to offer them in German as well.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Paderborn! On Sunday the event will conclude with an open to the public show at 3pm. The prize-giving-ceremony will be included in this show and we are hoping for an audience of more than 100 people.
